Valentine and Associates have been tremendous for my wife to work with! I started using them in 2016, and I've been nothing but pleased with the final tax return! Valentine and Associates are extremely knowledgeable of the current tax laws, and appear to be constantly educating themselves on changes in the tax laws as they occur. The owner George is wonderful! He is a very experienced tax accountant who has guided and navigated me through several situations in which most tax accountants would not know how to handle, to include farm and ranch taxes, real estate taxes, small business taxes, and energy investment taxes. I highly recommend Valentine and Associates CPAs!

I had high hopes with these people. We started using them May of 2022 and it wasn't bad at first. They were attentive and we had no issues. It wasn't until spring of 2023 that the communication became subpar. When emails were actually returned, questions would be left unanswered, and lots of grammatical errors making them difficult to read at times. When I released them of their duties in June of this year I pointed out the absence of email replies, and I was told "I gave you my direct line so you could text me". The things I emailed about were far too much to text. Currently, I am going through 6 months of bank reconciliations trying to fix everything they messed up. My request for a measly one month refund was ignored . We did switch point of sale systems at then beginning of this year which was hard for everyone, however, they ended up just making bogus journal entries that made no sense and they didn't explain it to me other than "I didn't know where else to put it", I asked for help MULTIPLE times. They didn't ask specific questions or try to get to the bottom of any issues. I only dealt with Tommy Valentine, so I'm unsure of any other employees capabilities. I personally prefer a CPA to come to me month to month to shore things up, but that did not happen with this company. I had to stay on them constantly. I personally would not recommend this company, however, I only dealt with one person there. My experience was not good.

If you are looking for a CPA that is unresponsive, won’t stay on top of sales tax, and will not respond when fines are generated by the county then Valentine and Associates are your go to.. Do not get lured into their promises as they will not deliver.. Steer clear of them.
