So here's the deal: this place gets great reviews. That's precisely why I picked them. However, they royally screwed up my taxes last year. Bad. And to boot, when I took my taxes in last year, it took them SIX WEEKS to do them, to the point that I was literally one day away from just going there to get my paperwork to go file with another company. I'm by no means an accountant, but it's pretty obvious to me once my new accountant explained everything to me that Collins made a huge error when filing for me last year. And then the owner of the company called me ( 4 weeks after I called them and tried to address the situation, after I was told I would recieve a prompt call back ) and said there was nothing they could do. All I can really do is file a complaint with the BBB and leave a one star google review, so I doubt they care that much. Lesson learned: don't assume just because a business has a 4.8 rating on Google that they know what they're doing. Sometimes, they don't, and it may cost you. *Update* It gets better, friends! Now I owe more money because Collins did my Earned Income Tax Credit wrong. We found that out when we submitted an amended return, and the IRS kicked it back. Beware of this place. Seriously. They screwed up, and they don't want to take responsibility for it.

Collins Accounting does a great job. We have been using their service for several years and they don’t disappoint. The staff is friendly and professional. They get your taxes prepared in a timely manner. Also, they throughly double check everything before finalizing it. I would recommend and have recommended their service to others.
