This place has been an absolute nightmare of bad advice and weeks of waiting for a reply after being homeless for a year and making the mistake of listening to nmcaa and being denied 3 times over this year for a mortgage. And these are the people that help with low income rentals not me I was never even put on a waiting list. I have cancer, epilepsy and now a hernia where they cut my kidney out from cancer. Because I had to go back to work disability and nmcaa = homeless I lost my retirement and had to sell almost everything I owned just to survive listening to these people i could have rented for a year and then tried to buy. And after almost 2 years. I didn't even get there $3000 down payment assistance because there is never anyone there to help please contact a realtor these people have the funding but obviously have no clue what to with it how to be available or truthful.. with a very heavy heart I'd like anyone smart enough to read this before trusting these people there opinions don't get you a mortgage they will build you up and knock you down so many times you will begin to think you can't do it without out them.. you can much better faster and mishda has a dpa that's easier to get. There at there office everyday another huge issue with nmcaa is there understaffed over paid and have to much power and money. To be withholding help like this not letting these programs help who they should I feel is criminal they "started helping " in July of 2023 i finally realized today I have done nothing but hurt myself my family, friends and finances it's 2025 and I walked away from that dpa and bs assistance. See they get paid by phone call and appointment not successfully helping you...I'd give them no star if I could....

I have worked with homeless.all my life, 15 years MSW ect. I used the supportive housing program with Caroline from mishda and norm jones. Now.norm is dead. They did not offer ANY support programs besides paying my rent. House had frozen pipes on three mile.
