Let me start this with saying, I like Mary Jo. I don't like the phone call I just had with her, but at the end of the day, I respect her no nonsense attitude. As a business owner, I understand we all have tough clients, deadlines, work and life events that we cannot control. Seriously Mary Jo, I get it! What I do not understand is when someone is reaching out for help, in my case a (second-time) amendment to a previous tax year, I have to pay like I am filing a new return? Again, I understand that nobody works for free but this is the second time I'm reaching out to amend the same tax return. I have received advice from two other tax professionals about items that could have been addressed at the original time of filing, why not from you? When I just reached out, it greatly surprised me that I was told it was my responsibility to know of these deductions before signing off on my tax return as this is what I thought I was paying you, the tax professional for. This is not my area of expertise, I'm busy, I have issues at my company I have to deal with, my house caught on fire, yada yada, WE ALL HAVE ISSUES. I'm sure there will be some responses as to why this is my fault and that I'm being unreasonable. In my business, lack of communication and not properly setting expectations always results in a bad ending. I wish you well personally, Mary Jo, but I'm very disappointed in the way you have handled me in your business. Form 7202 people, ask her if she filed this for you in 2021, you have until April 15th of this year to file it for a Covid relief tax break, Good luck. It will only cost you the price of filing your ENTIRE tax return to make this amendment.

My parents been going to Maryjo for years and its all been great up until this year. Her staff accountant Kristy has been the absolute WORSE!!!! She made them miss the deadline for submitting the paperwork, NEVER EVER replies and has hung up on us multiple times. She admitted that all the emails sent to her get pushed back and ignored that come from us. Maryjo has been on leave all year and Kristy has been ruining everything. If you want to potentially miss deadlines, get no updates and be hung up on, this is your gal!!

We’ve been doing our taxes here for years! You must get your paperwork in early and be patient. We’ve never had any issues.Kristy was able to review my previous tax returns and redo them! We got some missed money back. They’ve always gotten our stuff done on time and are so sweet.

Maryjo and her team were lifesavers! Not only did they do a great job with our tax issues, but she helped us to structure our business entities to benefit us the most while staying compliant. And it didn't cost anywhere near what we thought it would!
